Hell Let Loose Vietnam Release Time — Launch Explained

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launched August 13, 2026 after a short delay from June 18. How the release rolled out, unlock details and where to check the live game.

What was the release time for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam?

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam went live on August 13, 2026 — and since the game is already released, the release time no longer matters for getting in. There's no unlock countdown to wait for on Steam, PS5 or Xbox: buy it and you can play immediately. What's still useful is how the release timing actually played out, because this game changed dates once before shipping.

The two dates behind the launch

Team17 and Expression Games first confirmed a Thursday, June 18 digital launch in their May 14, 2026 "Release Date Announcement" blog, covering Steam, the Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Then, on June 2, a "Release Date Update" blog moved the launch to August 13, citing the need for extra development time on performance, stability and gameplay quality after internal testing and open beta feedback.

Notably, the official announcements pinned down dates, not hour-by-hour unlock times. Neither blog published a global unlock clock for launch day — the messaging was "August 13", and the launch trailer carried the same date.

What the team's timing pattern looked like

If you want a sense of how Team17 and Expression Games communicate timing, their pre-launch tests are the best evidence. The July Crossplay Playtest went live with a specific multi-timezone schedule — 6am PDT / 9am EDT / 2pm BST / 3pm CEST / 11pm AEST — and the May Open Beta Weekend on Steam used fixed windows too (10am BST / 2am PDT start and end). In other words: when the studio has a precise hour to share, it publishes it across time zones on the official blog.

For the launch itself, no such hour was published in the materials we've reviewed, and the standard advice applied — watch the Steam page, where the listing flips from "coming soon" to purchasable the moment the build goes live in your region.

Checking the live game today

The practical answer now: open the Steam store page (APPID 3079210) and it's simply there. The listing shows an active update history — the latest was August 28, part of the Patch 1.2/1.3 cycle after launch. If you're curious how the date moved from June to August, see our delay page, or the full release date history.
